WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

During City of London community planning and consultations, Londoners expressed an interest in an annual conference about neighbourhood and placemaking.  The annual gathering would allow community development enthusiasts to share tools and resources, while learning from experts and each other.  In 2018, a committee of organizations from across the city was formed. The first annual Place Matters conference was held on Saturday, September 28th 2019 at Museum London. Audio recordings and transcripts of the first conference are available here.
